Seller's Center |

I
remember what it was like to be a First-Time Home Seller. Don’t worry, I’m not going
to bore you with my story, but here’s what a Seller should expect in their real
estate transaction. I have put these items in the order they typically occur. Remember
that every transaction is unique and you may have to address these issues in a different
order. I’ve prepared this guide in an effort to relieve you of the many stresses
I felt when I sold my first home. Some of my recent clients helped me edit the guide.
I think we have come up with a helpful tool. You can one - FREE - below.
First you need to find a Real Estate Consultant that you trust. This is one of the
most important aspects of the transaction. If you have a pre-existing relationship
with an agent or you have a friend, family member or co-worker who can refer you
to a reputable agent, listen to what they have to say. It is important to do this
before you start looking for homes. In most cases, the agent who sells your home
will help you find a new home. If you are moving out of the area, I have an excellent
referral network. I only refer agents who hold themselves to the same standard of
customer service that I do, so you can rest assured you are receiving the highest
level of service.
The Ideal Real Estate Professional...
- Understands your wants and needs.
- Is professional and dedicated to exceeding your expectations.
- Knows what you want to accomplish with your home sale.
- Does not try to get you to sell your home for less than it is worth.
- Is a Realtor® - A member of the National Association of Realtors.
- Has excellent references from other clients.
- Treats you with respect.
- Is named Vic! (Okay, I added that one in.)
Don’t be afraid to interview several agents for the job of finding you a new home.
Remember, they are working for you. Your relationship should be one of mutual respect
and trust. It’s easy to develop a life-long friendship when you have that kind of
relationship with your agent.
Once you have selected your Real Estate Consultant, sit down with him and figure
out what your needs and wants are. This will help you and I complete the transaction
to your absolute approval.
Before you put your home on the market, you should make sure we are presenting it
in a condition that will bring you top dollar. Check out my free reports on How
to Get Top Dollar in Any Market and Preparing Your Home for Sale. See these and
other Free Reports at the bottom of this page.
It is essential to know what the market value is for your home. We can usually give
you a general idea, based on neighborhood sales, but don't let anyone give you an
exact pri ce over the phone. I have to see your home and compare it to recent sales
in the area before I can give you my exact opinion. You’ll find I have earned my
reputation for consistently bringing my seller’s the highest dollar we can get in
their home sale.
